Laurel Man Found Guilty Of Conspiring To Distribute Heroin


U.S. Attorney Dana J. Boente announced Wednesday a Maryland man was convicted for his role in a conspiracy to distribute heroin.

Thirty-two-year-old Jeffery Okyere of Laurel conspired with others based in Texas to provide a Virginia dealer with heroin as needed in 2016. Okyere faces a maximum 20-year prison sentence.Judge And Jury

Okyere’s sentencing is scheduled for March 23, 2018.
