Knickerbocker Partition Plans To Layoff 58 Employees In New York

Knickerbocker Partition Corporation filed a Workers Adjustment Retraining Notification In the Long Island Region on September 6. The notice indicates that the New York-based company will lay off 58 employee housed in its facility at 193 Hanse Avenue in Freemont, New York.

Knickerbocker Partition is one of the oldest manufacturers of commercial restroom partitions, according to the company’s website. Knickerbocker Partition also offers urinal screens, shower compartments, dressing rooms and washroom accessories to the commercial market place.

Knickerbocker Partition CorporationThe company, headquartered in New York, will close its Freeport facility and lay off 58 employees. The reason for the layoff entered into the WARN notice is “sale of business.” Separations will take place on December 8.
