Ketchum To Close Pittsburgh Office, Lay Off 53 Employees In Pittsburgh


Ketchum Inc. filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification earlier this week with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. The notice indicates the agency will close its office at 912 Fort Duquesne Boulevard in Pittsburgh and lay off 53 employees.

Business Closing

Ketchum recently released a statement in which it stated “significant staff reduction” in the Pittsburgh area is “part of a large consolidation of support services happening at the holding company level.”

Employee separations are expected to occur on January 31, 2018, according to the filing.
