In Justice League, Batman and Wonder Woman work together to assemble a team of metahumans consisting of Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons. The film was announced in October 2014 as Justice League Part One, with Snyder on board to direct and Terrio attached to write the script. Initially, Cavill was not set to reprise his role as Superman from Man of Steel until December 2016, when he signed on for reshoots. Principal photography commenced in April 2017 at Warner Bros.’ Leavesden Studios in England and wrapped in October that year.
