Joppa Teen Identified As Victim In Harford County Collision


Harford County, Maryland – At approximately 1:35 a.m., Harford County police were dispatched to Poole Road to investigate a collision. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an overturned 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe. Medics arrived on scene and transported the driver to a local hospital for treatment.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the driver was veered off the right side of the road while traveling southbound. The vehicle hit a tree before overturning on the roadway. Speed and alcohol were ruled as contributing factors for the collision.

The driver of the Tahoe was later identified as 28-year-old, Damien Alec Myers of Havre de Grace. The passenger has been identified as 19-year-old Jordan Fredrick Maughan of Joppa.

The investigation is ongoing.
