Howard County Police Make Arrest Following Brief Pursuit


A Howard County Police officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Route 40 at the Baltimore County line at approximately 11:45 p.m. Thursday, when the driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

After a brief pursuit, the suspect was apprehended with further incident, according to the report.

A search of the vehicle revealed suspected crack cocaine and marijuana.

The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Kinsey Kenyatta Chatman of North Pulaski Highway. Chatman has been charged with drug violations.
