Howard County Police Investigating Multiple Commercial Burglaries In Columbia

Howard County Police are investigating commercial burglaries in Columbia, Clarksville and Ellicott City.

Around 10:17 a.m. Monday, unknown suspect(s) entered Bryant Woods Pool in the 10400 block of Green Mountain Circle in Columbia through the pool area. The owner did not report any items stolen, police said.

Unknown suspect(s) entered Leelynn’s Dining Room and Lounge in the 9400 block of Old Annapolis Road in Ellicott City about 12:01 early Tuesday morning through a broken door. The owner reported alcohol, cash and cigarettes stolen from the property, police said.

Around 12:59 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered Freestate Gas in the 12100 block of Clarksville Pike in Clarksville through a busted wall. The owner reported cigarettes and change stolen from the business, police said.

Police responded to a report of a robbery in the 5500 block of Harpers Farm Road in Columbia around 4:40 p.m. Monday. The victim told police that 20 people approached and assaulted him. The man was not injured in the incident, but the suspects stole his car keys and belt before fleeing the area.
