Howard County Police Investigating Commercial Burglaries

Howard County Police are investigating a commercial burglary in Elkridge and another in Columbia.

Around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a report of a possible burglary at Lenny’s Towing in the 7000 block of Kit Kat Road. At the scene, police discovered a suspect who had cut through a fence to gain entry to the business. An employee was assaulted when he attempted to confront the suspect, police said.

Police arrest the suspect who was later identified as 36-year-old Robert Nicholas Harrison who is believed to be homeless. Harrison was charged with assault, destruction of property and burglary.

Violent Weekend In BaltimoreAround 4:57 a.m. Monday morning, police arrived at Absolutely Wine or Spirits in the 10400 block of Twin Rivers Road in Columbia. At the scene, police initiated an investigation that revealed the business had been burglarized. Police said unknown suspect(s) pried open a door to gain entry to the business. The owner reported cigarettes and cash stolen.

Update: An address for Harrison has been removed for legal purposes.
