Howard County Police said a man received serious injuries during a robbery in Jessup at a BP station.
Approximately 6:46 a.m. Wednesday morning, a man was standing outside his vehicle in the 8800 block of Washington Boulevard in Jessup, when an unidentified suspect approached and struck him with a wooden board.
Medics transported the man to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he is listed in serious condition. The suspect is described as a male 6 feet, 180 pounds with dreadlocks. He was wearing tan pants and a dark long sleeve shirt.
The investigation is ongoing.
