Howard County Police Investigating A Commercial, Residential Burglaries

Howard County Police are investigating multiple residential burglaries and a commercial burglary.

Around 10:28 p.m. Thursday, two suspects unlawfully entered a commercial property in the 10400 block of Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia. The suspected cut open a cage at the Merriweather Post Pavilion and took alcohol, police said.

Police successfully located and arrested one of the suspects, who was later identified as 18-year-old Jehlani Dennis-Gray. He was charged with destruction of property, trespassing, theft and burglary.

Accident Scene

Unknown suspect(s) broke into a residential property in the 14600 block of Riggs Meadow Drive in Cooksville. The suspect(s) pried open a barn door and took a bow and arrow, before leaving the area. The alleged crime is believed to happen somewhere between August 2 and 3.

Around 5:05 a.m. Thursday morning, unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered a residential property in the 8200 block of Lincoln Drive in Jessup. A vehicle was taken, but police did not find signs of forced entry. The vehicle was a Honda CRV with Maryland tags A306523, police said.

A vehicle theft took place in the 8800 block of Washington Boulevard about 9:52 a.m. Thursday morning. The vehicle was a 2013 Toyota Camry, police said.
