Howard County Police Identify Suspect In Ellicott City Carjacking


Howard County Police announce the arrest of a suspect in a carjacking that took place on October 14 in Ellicott City.

Approximately 3:56 p.m., police responded to the 9100 block of Baltimore National Pike to investigate a carjacking. At the scene, the responding officers met with a male victim who reported his vehicle stolen.

ArrestPreliminary investigation revealed the victim had met a female suspect online and arranged to meet her to sell a vehicle. The victim exited the vehicle after a test drive and the suspect pushed him and fled the area. No injuries were reported.

The suspect was identified as 20-year-old Jordan Alexis Reaves of Cross Trails Road in Baltimore. Officers charged Reaves with motor vehicle theft, robbery, assault and carjacking.
