U.S. Attorney Dana J. Boente announced Thursday a Henrico County man was sentenced to 262 months in prison for distributing cocaine and heroin in Richmond, Virginia.
On May 23, 43-year-old Alphonso Jones admitted to distributing 15 kilograms of cocaine and over seven kilograms of heroin, converting to more than 220,000 single doses. Jones was a convicted felon, who also possessed a .38 caliber handgun and ammunition, according to court records.
Jones is required to forfeit the .38 caliber handgun and pay a $1.05 million fine, according to court documents.
