Approximately 10:38 a.m. August 15, a man entered the BB&T Bank in the 2100 block of Laurel Bush Road, handed a teller a note that said he had a weapon and demanded money. The teller complied with the request and the man fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the news release.
After canvasing the surrounding areas, deputies, a K9 unit and troopers could not locate the suspect. Through an extensive investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as 37-year-old Jason Eli Madison of Edgewood.
Madison was charged with robbery, second-degree assault, theft and armed robbery. He is being held at the Harford County Detention Center on a no-bond status.
