Harford County Sheriff’s Office Identify Suspect In Non-Fatal Stabbing In Aberdeen

Harford County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man involved in a non-fatal stabbing that took place in Aberdeen Sunday.

Around 8:25 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the Chick-fil-A in the 1000 block of Beards Hill Road to investigate a reported stabbing victim. At the scene the responding officers, located 58-year-old Danilo Cacho of Churchville Road suffering from a stab wound to the upper body.

Violent Weekend In Baltimore

The victim told deputies that the incident took place in the 3400 block of Churchville Road. He was taken to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where is he listed in critical but stable condition, according to the news release.

Deputies learned that the stabbing followed a verbal altercation between Cacho and 65-year-old Cristobal Roxas, Cacho’s neighbor. A search warrant was obtained on Roxas’ residence, where deputies recovered the knife utilized in the assault, according to the news release.

Roxas was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault, second-degree murder and reckless endangerment. He is being held at the Harford County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
