About The Ghostbusters: Afterlife:
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is the latest installment of the Ghostbusters franchise. It is the third installment in the primary Ghostbusters film series and will have narrative ties to both the original Ghostbusters from 1984 and Ghostbusters II from 1989.
As far as we know, it will not share any links to Ghostbusters: Answer the Call, which exists in a completely different universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the story picks up roughly 30 years after the events of Ghostbusters II.
Instead of unfolding in New York City, the sequel finds a single mother and her teenage son and adolescent daughter moving into a rundown farmhouse in the small town of Summerville, Oklahoma.
Trevor will discover the retro ambulance-turned-ghostbuster car, while Phoebe will “find a device that reads psychokinetic energy,” an instantly recognizable tool of the trade from the original film. The only question is whether Trevor and Phoebe will decide to go into the family business.

Will there be another sequel of Ghostbuster: Afterlife?
It looks like Afterlife won’t be the boiler-suit boys’ last outing, as the film’s director Jason Reitman hinted in June that he has plans for a fourth film in the franchise.
“I can’t tell you anything, but we are working on another installment,” he said, speaking on Josh Gad’s Reunited Apart YouTube series. The ghost-hunting team gets back together for the long-awaited Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Yes ghostbuster: Afterlife is a smashingly enjoyable sequel that hits all the right notes of nostalgia. It’s also weirdly touching to see these old heroes try to do their thing one last time.
