Geoffrey Rush is an Australian actor who has appeared in films, television series, and theatre productions. He began his acting career in the 1970s with the Queensland Theatre Company. Later, he appeared in several television series, including The Young Doctors, Carson’s Law, and Bodyline. In the 1980s, he made his film debut in the Australian drama film The Year of Living Dangerously. He later appeared in films such as Toys (1992), Shine (1996), and Elizabeth (1998). In 1999, he played the title role in the biographical movie Mystery Men.
