Acting U.S. Attorney Soo C. Song announced Thursday a former operator of Next Stop Recovery Housing was indicted on one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin.
Sixty-five-year-old David Francis of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania was found to have heroin in his possession on or about October 6.
The charge of possession with intent to distribute carries a maximum 20-year prison term and/or $1 million fine. The sentence imposed would be based upon the prior criminal history and seriousness of the offense.
The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
