Former Operator Of Next Stop Recovery Housing Charged With Heroin Possession


Acting U.S. Attorney Soo C. Song announced Thursday a former operator of Next Stop Recovery Housing was indicted on one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin.

Sixty-five-year-old David Francis of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania was found to have heroin in his possession on or about October 6.

Judge And JuryThe charge of possession with intent to distribute carries a maximum 20-year prison term and/or $1 million fine. The sentence imposed would be based upon the prior criminal history and seriousness of the offense.

The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
