First Kill is very different from the other films that Steven C. Miller has directed. He most commonly refers to horror films, including “The Aggression Scale,” “Rites of Spring,” and “The Rage: Carrie 2”. First Kill also portrays a more realistic depiction of American law enforcement and the struggles of officers who deal with life-changing events outside their control and how they can affect their personal lives.
