Federal Hill’s Local Fry Announces Plans To Open Second Location In Hampden

Local Fry owner, Kevin Irish, announces plans to open a second location in Hampden no later than early 2018.

Irish said the new restaurant at the Rotunda on 40th Street would offer similar items found on the menu at the Federal Hill location. Wings, rice bowls, banh mi sandwiches and fries with various topping offerings will be included on the menu. Carryout services will also be offered.

Irish said the second location is part of an effort to better serve North Baltimore residents who often frequent the Federal Hill location. Besides the North Baltimore residents, he also hopes to draw residents from other areas like Towson.

The 1,200-square-feet feet space is smaller than the original location, which is 2,000-square feet, and will seat up to 20 patrons. Same as the Federal Hill location, Irish said the Rotunda location would mimic the BYOB practice, if a liquor license cannot be secured.
