The Fast & Furious 10 release date is set for April 2020. This means that Fast & Furious fans will have to wait just over two years after Fast 9’s release. The Fast and the Furious franchise has become one of the most profitable franchises in Hollywood, trailing only Star Wars in terms of box office revenue. With Fast 9 making $1 billion worldwide, it’s no surprise that Universal Pictures is eager to make another sequel with original stars like Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson returning!
What is the release date of Fast & Furious 10?
Fast & Furious 10 will be in theaters on 7th April 2023.
The tenth film in a series was originally scheduled to come out before. It was going to be released on April 2nd, but that didn’t happen.
There was a pandemic which meant that Fast 9 was delayed. I think the next two films will start shooting in January 2022.
In 2017, the Fast and Furious film was released in April. If Fast 10 and Fast 11 start filming this year, then the first one would come out in 2023.
What is the plot of Fast & Furious 10?
There are not many details for Fast 10, but Fast 9 is the first film of the final chapter. You can expect that in Fast 10 they will tie up some of the loose ends.
In this movie, Dom is related to Leysa and Jakob. He has a vendetta against Cipher after she killed the mother of his child. Mr. Nobody could be alive and he might come back.
In the next Fast and Furious movie, we expect some post-credit scenes. In one of these scenes, Han talks to Deckard Shaw. Until now, he had thought that he killed Han in Tokyo. It was awkward for him to find out that it wasn’t true.
Of course, after Fast 9 went into space, the plot of the next movie will probably need to be even more interesting. Maybe time travel? Or maybe that rumor about Jurassic World? We are not sure yet. And Tyrese said he wants a Transformers mash-up which would be confusing since he is in both movies.
Vin Diesel has said that he knows how the Fast movies will end.
This scene is in my mind and has been for many years. I have always imagined what the ending of the ending would be. Justin Lin and I have talked about it a lot. We are getting ready for the two-part finale of the story in F9.
“So, could I talk about it now or would I talk about it later? But what is special about this release is that we had to push the release a year. And that pushed into the pre-production on this Fast finale. So every day, I am coming on the show and going home to work on Fast 10.
Who will be starring in it?
You will see the “family” in the next movie, including…
- Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto
- Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz
- Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce
- Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej Parker
- Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey
Jordana Brewster also returned to the franchise in Fast 9, so it’s probable she’ll return again as Mia Toretto. When Mia (Jordana Brewster) came back to the movie, they had to explain why Brian (Paul Walker) was not there. He was taking care of their kids. It looks like he might be in the next one too.
Paul Walker died halfway through shooting Furious 7. He was shown on the screen with a combination of CGI and body doubles. Fast 10 could have the Brian character play a small role if something similar is attempted.
Jordana Brewster has suggested that Walker’s daughter Meadow could be in a future Fast movie as a tribute to her late father. She said, “I feel like she feels so comfortable with us and she feels very included in our universe.” It would be cool to see her on-screen.
Han Lue was brought back to life in Fast 9. We can expect him to stay alive and be part of Dom’s crew in future movies.
In Fast 9, John Cena came as JakobToretto – Dom and Mia’s long-lost brother, who is also a master thief and assassin. They got back together by the end of the movie after a misunderstanding involving their father’s death was resolved. The film’s ending shows Jakob still running away from the authorities and not going back to his family. Mia told him not to stay away for too long, so it is likely that he will come back in any future movies.
Charlize Theron plays a cyber-terrorist that made her debut in The Fate of the Furious. In Fast 9 she escaped justice, so she may come back to cause trouble for Dom and his gang. Kurt Russell’s character Mr. Nobody from Fast 8 had an ambiguous fate – if he is still alive, he could come back.
