The first season of the show begins with the Chief being kidnapped by Mr. Nobody, who is a bad man. The Doom Patrol is sent on a mission to rescue him. Along the way, they find out new secrets about themselves and the Chief. The Chief is the person who gave them their superpowers.

Dorothy Spinner joined the Doom Patrol for the second season. Her power is to bring imaginary friends to life. The Doom Patrol faces their problems and must confront the truth about Chief. Dorothy, however, accidentally endangers the world when she unleashes an ancient creature called the Candlemaker.

In the third season, Dorothy has to battle against the Candlemaker. The Doom Patrol also suffers a loss. The team splits up and they struggle with their identities until Madame Rouge comes in a time machine and changes everything.

We might see the team reunite to fight time-traveling and multiverse threats in Doom Patrol Season 4.
