During a fight with Mordo and his acolytes at a remote temple on the Tibetan plateau, Strange regains his full powers. Mordo then kills Pangborn, but Strange manages to escape after trapping Mordo in a circle of fire. Strange travels back home, where he confronts Mordo and tricks him into using magic to resurrect Pangborn. Strange then imprisons Mordo in a time loop that causes the latter’s death over and over again.
