DHL To Lay Off 116 Employees In Pennsylvania

Excel Inc., doing business as DHL Supply Chain, filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining notification with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry this week. The notice indicates the company will lay off 116 employees at its Palmyra facility located at 500 North Lingle Avenue.

DHL specializes in international express deliveries, warehousing solutions from packaged to store and repairs and global freight forwarding by road, rail and air.

Business Closing

Employee separations are expected to begin on November 6 and continue through December 31. The reason for the dislocation was not cited in the filing.
