Coronavirus Leads To Massive Layoff At Carter Fuel Systems In Indiana

This week, Carter Fuel Systems submitted a WARN with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. The letter alerts that the company will be laying off workers at its Logansport, Indiana facility, which is located at 101 Industrial Boulevard. The layoffs will be carried out on a rolling basis starting on April 1, 2020.

In total, the company anticipates that approximately 128 workers will be impacted. The duration of the layoff is not known at this time, but the company anticipates recalls may begin as early as April 13, 2020. The letter explains that the decision was made due to the unforeseeable, dramatic decreases in business caused by the natural disaster that is the Coronavirus.
