Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Extends Temporary Layoff For 797 Employees In Findlay, Ohio

This week, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company submitted an updated WARN with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The company announced a temporary shutdown of its operations on March 21, 2020. At the time, it believed workers would be able to return to work on April 6, 2020.

The updated WARN reveals that the shutdown will continue beyond April 6, 2020. The impacted facility is located at 701 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio. The shutdown is the result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
