Columbian Home Products Announces Layoffs In Indiana

Columbian Home Products filed a WARN notice with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development on October 15, 2019. The notice alerts of a layoff that will impact about 82 workers in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Columbian Home Products sells ethnic cookware at various online stores, including Better Homes & Gardens.

Business Closing

According to the WARN, the company will close its Beech Street plant and layoff 82 employees. It is unclear if the impacted workers have union representation.

Employee separations are scheduled to begin on December 1, 2019. The company expects the layoffs to be permanent, according to the WARN.
