Chris Rock: Will Smith’s Oscars slap in the live Netflix special in Baltimore

Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre has finally addressed Will Smith’s Oscar slap. Chris Rock will hit back! This legendary comic is meant to perform a live special on 4th March on Netflix. He will address Will Smith slapping him at the Oscars! Over the last year, Rock has alluded to the incident in short quips in the stand-up performances. Rock worshipped the item in January during an arena show in Charleston. He has been on the bill with Dave Chappelle. He was dressed in all white and has dressed in the infamous moment with Smith through his set. Further, Rock discussed the collective outrage after this incident. He even cracked several jokes.

Rock joked: Smith gets shirtless in the movies.

Rock joked, “Even in animated movies, I’m a zebra; he’s an f—ing shark. I got stuck; I heard ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears.” It is also about differences in terms of size between two men. Rock said, “Will Smith is a big dude. I am not.” He further added, “Will Smith is shirtless in his movies. If you see me in a movie getting open heart surgery, I will have a sweater on.”
“Chris Rock: Selective Outrage” will be streaming live on Netflix at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday from the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore, about a week before this year’s Awards.
