Chef Gordon Ramsay ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Opens New Restaurant In Baltimore

Renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, of “MasterChef,” “Hell’s Kitchen, and “The F Word with Gordon Ramsay”, announces opening of new steak house in South Baltimore. Gordon Ramsey Steak will replace Jack Bionion’s Steak at the Horseshoe Casino.

Ramsay opened the Las Vegas restaurant in 2012 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. The price point for the Gordon Ramsey Steak location will average from $70 to $80 per person, Ramsay said.

Ramsay said in an interview, “I’ve been a big lover of Baltimore and what it stands for and what comes out of there regionally.”

Touches are being added to the menu, but it will include some signature dishes from the Las Vegas restaurant, like sticky toffee pudding and beef Wellington. British ale soup, fish and chips with beer batter, smoked bone marrow and braised beef cheeks will also be featured on the menu, Ramsay said.

Five or six of the menu items will include ingredients from local purveyors. Gordon Ramsay Steak will also feature barrel-aged cocktail classics and an extensive collection of fine wines

Ramsay hopes to create a more personal, comfortable and less flashy feel than Vegas. The Baltimore restaurant, on the ground level of the casino, is still being designed, but is expected to open by the end of the year.

Ramsay has not selected a chef for his new restaurant, but has narrowed his search to three.
