Celebrity Chef Brings His Arlington, Virginia Greek Restaurant To College Park


Washington, D.C.-based chef and restaurateur, Mike Isabella, opens his restaurant at the University of Maryland in College Park Monday.

Kapnos Taverna will serve Greek-inspired foods, appetizers, entrees and an extensive wine selection. The 4,000-square-foot restaurant at 7777 Baltimore Avenue will seat 143 patrons.

The successful restaurateur is also the owner of several well-known restaurants in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Kapnos Taverna, a sister restaurant of Kapnos Kouzina in Bethesda and Kapnos in Washington, D.C., Kapnos Taverna provides a refined atmosphere for professionals and delivery options for local businesses.
