Carlisle Fluid Technologies To Close Angola Plant, Lay Off 31 Employees


Carlisle Fluid Technologies filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development on October 30. The notice indicates the company will close its Angola facility and lay off 31 employees.

Business Closing

Carlisle Fluid Technologies is a private company that designs and manufactures a full range of finishing equipment that are focused on powder coating, pumping, spraying, metering, curing and mixing of coatings utilized in the general industrial, transportation, wood, specialty, auto refinishing and protective coating markets.

Employees do not have any bumping rights and are expected to separate from the company on December 31. The company will close its plant at 1910 North Way Street in Angola, Indiana by the end of the year.
