Brief Police Chase Ends With The Arrest Of Two Bank Robbers In Baltimore County


Baltimore County Police announce the arrest of two suspects in connection with a bank robbery.

Approximately 11:50 a.m. Monday, deputies were dispatched to 8704 Belair Road to investigate a bank robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed a male suspect approached a clerk and displayed a note.Bank RobbersOfficers positioned around Belair Road observed a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle on bank surveillance video traveling southbound on Belair Road near Baltimore City. The vehicle failed to stop for a traffic stop, prompting a police chase.

The vehicle came to a stop after it collided into a civilian’s vehicle in the intersection of Federal Street and North Broadway. Two suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Deputies apprehended the female just a short distance from the crash scene. The driver fled into an alley and a residential neighborhood, where he was later apprehended.

The female suspect was identified as 33-year-old Crystal Lynn French of the 100 block of Rebel Road in Grasonville. The driver was identified as 38-year-old Matthew Dale Bush of the 2600 block of Porter Road in Bear, Delaware.

The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries during the collision.

French and Bush received treatment for minor injuries prior to being transported to the Baltimore County Detention Center, where they are being held on a no-bond status.
