According to Baltimore police, a man stabbed a Johns Hopkins graduate student after being invited into his apartment.
The incident took place in the 300 block of East University parkway between Abell and Guilford avenues at 2 a.m. Thursday morning, police said.
After meeting online, the student invited the man into his apartment, where he was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect who is being described as a 22-year-old black man, six-foot tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds, brandished a handgun and robbed the student. He got a cellphone and wallet, before fleeing the area.
There were no reports of injury. The man told the student his name was Michael Wilson. He was wearing blue jeans and a red shirt, police said.
