Baltimore Police: Man Shot In Torso In Southeast District Shooting


Baltimore Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that took place early Thursday morning in the Southeast District.

Police, on patrol in the area near Broadway hear gunshot began to canvas the area. The officers believed the gunshots were coming from Eastern Avenue and Broadway.

A short time later, they saw a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed coming from that location. The vehicle finally came to a stop in from of a local hospital. Police located a 30-year-male who had been shot in the torso inside the vehicle.

The victim’s condition is listed as “stable.”

A preliminary investigation reveal the shooting originated from a physical altercation that took place in a club near Broadway and Eastern Avenue, police said.
