Baltimore Police: Man Injured In Southern District Shooting


Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting in the Southern District.

Around 10:42 p.m. Friday, police responded to a reported shooting in the 1200 block of Washington Boulevard. Upon arrival, the responding officers found a man who had suffered a gunshot wound to his thumb.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The preliminary investigation revealed an unknown man shot the victim after he discharged a firearm in the block.
