Baltimore Police Investigating Three Shootings Within Minutes Of Each Other


Baltimore Police say an 18-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh in the Eastern District Saturday night.

Approximately 9:33 p.m., police responded to a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital. At the scene, the responding officers located an 18-year-old male who had been shot.

Preliminary investigation revealed the shooting took place in the 900 block of Eden Street. No further details were immediately available. Police urge anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact Citywide Shooting detectives at 410-396-2221 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

Just a few minutes before, police received a report of a shooting in the 1400 block of Carroll Street. Upon arrival, the officers located a 24-year-old male and 27-year-old male. Both victims had suffered gunshot wounds to the legs, according to the report.

The shooting is still under investigation.

About 9:21, police responded to a local hospital, where a shooting victim arrived for treatment. A 20-year-old man had been shot in the face. The victim told officers the shooting took place in the 200 block of South Dallas Court.
