Baltimore Police Investigating The Fatal Shooting Of A Security Guard


Baltimore Police say a security guard working at an apartment complex in the Central District was fatally shot.

Approximately 11 p.m., an officer patrolling in the Central District was flagged down by a security guard who said another guard had been shot. The officer located an unresponsive 29-year-old man in the 1500 block of Eutaw Place.

Accident Scene

The victim was located in the rear ground level outside of the building. Medics dispatched to the scene pronounced the victim deceased.

Detectives are unclear on the circumstances leading up to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
