Baltimore Police Investigating Shooting Near Gilmore Street And Search Popland Street Property


On December 17, 2018 around 6:30 PM, officers were dispatched to Gilmore Street after receiving a report of a shooting. After arriving at the scene, officers discovered a female adult with a gunshot wound to the leg. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. A preliminary investigation revealed that the woman was shot in the 200 block of North Warwick. Then, she was driven to Gilmore Street and police were called.

Southern District Action Team officers carried out a search and seizure warrant in the 1500 block of Popland Street on December 10, 2018. During the search, officers found drugs and a loaded handgun. As a result, 18-year-old Dana Tremble was arrested and taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility. The defendant has been charged with gun and CDS violations.
