Baltimore Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In The Western District


Baltimore Police said a man was fatally shot in the Western District Wednesday night.

Approximately 9:35 p.m., police responded to a reported shooting in the 2300 block of West Lafayette Avenue. Upon arrival, the responding officers discovered a 27-year-old man who had suffered gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma, where he was later pronounced deceased.
