Baltimore Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In The Southeast District


Baltimore Police say a 26-year-old was fatally shot in the Southeast District Sunday afternoon.

Approximately 2:40 p.m., police were dispatched to the unit block of North Spring Street to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, responding officers found a 26-year-old man who had been shot in the buttocks.

Accident Scene

Medics arriving to the scene transported the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Through investigation, detectives learned the victim was shot as he exited a store located on Spring Street. They believe the motive for the shooting was robbery.
