Baltimore Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In Northeast District, Victims Identified


Baltimore Police said a 23-year-old man was fatally shot Monday in the Northeast District.

Around 12:30 p.m., police arrived to the 1600 block of Abbotson Street to investigate a report of a shooting. At the scene, the responding officers located a man who had been shot multiple times. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, police said.

Police also identify the victim fatally shot on Friday in the 4100 block of Chesterfield Avenue as Carlos Watkins-Smith, 23.

Another man fatally shot Friday in the unit block of North Abington Avenue has been identified as Theron McClary, 28.
