Baltimore Police Investigating A Fatal Shooting In The Northeast District


Baltimore Police said a man was fatally shot in a vehicle Tuesday in the Northeast District.

Around 12:30 p.m., police went to the 3700 block of Fleetwood Avenue to investigate a vehicle accident. At the scene, the responding officers located a 24-year-old man, who had suffered an upper body gunshot wound, inside a vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Baltimore Mayor's Office On Criminal JusticeRoughly an hour later, police received a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Bennett Place. The responding officers arrived at the scene around 1:50 p.m. and found a 15-year-old male who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The teen was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
