Baltimore Police Identify Victim In Saint Benedict Street Shooting


Baltimore homicide detectives worked a fatal shooting Monday in the 2600 block of Saint Benedict Street. The victim, a 26-year-old male, suffered a fatal gunshot wound and pronounced deceased Wednesday at a local hospital.

ArrestThe victim has been identified as Joshua Richardson of the 600 block of Bartlett Street. No further details were immediately available.

Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Belair Road at approximately 12:54 p.m. Wednesday afternoon to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, officers found an adult man suffering from “an apparent gunshot wound.”

Medics transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was treated and later released.
