Baltimore Police Identify Victim In Pedestrian Involved Hit And Run


Officers responded to the North Central Avenue at East Fayette Street on December 10 to investigate a collision involving a pedestrian. At the scene, officers found a 64-year-old man suffering from multiple injuries to the body. The vehicle involved in the crash left the scene before officers arrived.

Medics transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased on December 14.

The preliminary investigation revealed Anthony Russel Johnson of the 100 block of North Central Avenue was crossing the street when a blue pickup truck struck him. Investigators believe the truck, a 2005-2007 Dodge Dakota, sustained front-end damage during the incident.
