Baltimore Police Identify Victim In Fatal Hit-And-Run


Baltimore Police responded to the 6300 block of Boston Street to investigate a collision involving a person. At the scene, officers located a 58-year-old man who had been struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle left the scene before officers arrived.

Investigators believe a gold or white four-door sedan was traveling westbound on Boston Street, when it veered onto the sidewalk, hitting the victim. The vehicle left the scene traveling on Broening Highway, according to the report.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The victim has been identified as 58-year-old Philip Muriel.
