Baltimore Police Identify Suspect In September Homicide


At approximately 1:09 a.m. September 13, Baltimore Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Popular Grove Street to investigate a cutting. At the scene, officers located a 34-year-old man lying in the grave, bleeding heavily.

Eric CarterMedics transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The victim was later identified as Daivon Evans.

Preliminary investigation revealed Evans was stabbed and assaulted.

The investigation led to the arrest of Eric Carter, 22, of the 3000 block of Lanvale Street. Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Carter Wednesday. He has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and first- and second-degree assault.
