Baltimore Police Identify Suspect In Hollins Street Shooting


Baltimore Police arrested the suspect in a non-fatal shooting that took place in the 1900 block of Hollins Street on Saturday afternoon.

Approximately 5:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of Hollins Street. At the scene, the responding officers located a 38-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the body.

Tavon CooperThe victim who has not been identified was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Through investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as Tavon Cooper, 19, of the 1900 block of Hollins Street. Cooper has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.

The investigation is ongoing.
