Baltimore Police were dispatched to the 4700 block of Frederick Avenue Tuesday to investigate a shooting. At the scene, officers found a 21-year-old male and 22-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics arriving to the scene transported the victims to a local hospital. Both victims are expected to survive their injuries, according to the report.
Through investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as Derrick McNair, 24, of the 2000 block of Hollins Street.
The Warrant Apprehension Task Force arrested McNair at a Whirlwind Court apartment on Friday. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder.
McNair is being held at Central Booking on a no-bond status.
