Baltimore Police Arrest Suspect In Greenmount Avenue Shooting


Baltimore Police say a suspect in Greenmount Avenue shooting has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault and multiple firearm violations.

Approximately 2:30 a.m. September 26, police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Greenmount Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the responding officers found a 34-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound inside her home.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. She is still recovering from the shooting, according to the report.

Through preliminary investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as Robert Sivells, 46, of the 2500 block of Woodbrook Avenue. Detectives arrested Sivells Tuesday in the 1100 block of Greenmount Avenue.
