At approximately 6:34 p.m. December 22, 2016, Baltimore Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Eutaw Place to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, officers located a 41-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Medics transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Through extensive investigation, homicide detectives were able to identify the suspect as Steven Alexander Morton, 42, of the 1900 block of Ridgehill Avenue.
Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Morton on February 3 in the 2400 block of Eutaw Place, following a traffic accident.
Morton has been charged with first-degree murder.
