Baltimore Police are investigating a fatal shooting in the Northwest District.
Approximately 11:15 p.m. Friday night, police patrolling in the 4300 block of Reisterstown Road heard gunfire. Just a short time later, they located a man who had been shot in his chest. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The preliminary investigation revealed the shooting was linked to an attempted robbery.
Approximately 2 a.m. Saturday morning, police responded to the 500 block of North Curley Street to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the responding officers located a 48-year-old man who had been shot multiple times in the torso.
The man was taken to the Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. An investigation of the incident has led to no motive or witnesses.
About five hours later, police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Ettings Street to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a man who had been shot in the chest.
The man was pronounced deceased at Shock Trauma a short time later.
